About Me

My name is Lauren Conrad and I write historical fiction. I am currently working on a novel about a young woman running a coffeehouse in 18th century London.

I am an active member of the Historical Novel Society.

When I’m not writing through time, I work as a technical writer in 21st century New York.

Thank you so much Hank! It’s so wonderful to hear that people read that Thought Catalog article. I wasn’t sure how many views it has gotten over the years but it is one that I am very proud of. What made me want to share my work in regards to that Thought Catalog article? When I wrote it I was applying to jobs as a technical writer and I was creating a portfolio in order to do that. I had several tech writing pieces but I wanted a larger variety of written work and not just those on my blog. So I sought out places that published freelance pieces like mine. As you can see from this website, I also intend to share my historical fiction work, but that’s going to take a little longer.
